Here’s where you come in:

As the Institutional Grants & Partnerships Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic guidance for positioning WV as a partner of choice with key institutional donors and funding partners at the regional level, as well as supporting the development and implementation of FO GAM strategies. The position also supports capacity building and mentoring of FO GAM staff to meet their resource acquisition targets, grow their portfolio and ensure quality proposal design and implementation. Success in this position will require building strong networks and relationships with multiple stakeholders, within the global World Vision partnership and externally, in order to effectively develop and realise funding diversification strategies for growth in grants with a range of institutional donors, including bilateral, multilateral, major foundations and corporates. Coordination and collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders is critical to build capacity, secure competitive partnerships, build a solid grants pipeline, and ensure a healthy win rate. Regional leadership and coordination is pivotal to ensuring productive donor relationship management, leveraging program success and learning to create and secure new opportunities across East Asia.

Requirements include:

  • University degree related to Development Studies, International Relations, or similar field of study is required.
  • Minimum 6 years’ professional experience in acquisition and quality assurance of bilateral and multi-lateral grants.
  • 8 years’ experience working in development and humanitarian emergencies, with experience living and working in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Demonstrated record of success in acquiring and growing funding from bilateral and multilateral donors.
  • Demonstrated ability to network and manage relationships with institutional donors and partners at a strategic level.
  • Experience developing and leading initiatives for positioning, capture planning, and systems improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex partnering processes and successfully overcome challenges.
  • Excellent English language skills; written and verbal.
