Job Description:

Assist the Regional Sales Managers in APAC to develop and manage client relationships for key accounts. They will also assist in the development of design strategies for new business development and meet targets for growth and account management duties in assigned business sector or client base.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Regional Account Management Support:
    • Provides sales related assistance to the Regional Sales Manager and Field Application Engineer (preparation of quotes and sales contracts; order placement and tracking; information sourcing useful to the account; other related tasks and responsibilities)/ Experience using the Sales Force tool is a plus.
  • Account Prospecting and Management:
    • Targets assigned accounts via phone, fax and email at a corporate level with a view of establishing a corporate relationship.
    • Initiates telephone contact on leads generated by sales and marketing initiatives such as tradeshows, seminars and direct mail campaigns as well as other leads as required.
    • Consults with client to analyze and understand the client’s business and technical needs and determines which products and services best-fit requirements.
    • Provides feedback to Regional Sales Manager regarding new developments and information on specific and evolving customer needs, industry trends and competitive activity.
  • Sales Administration:
    • Participates in sales planning and sales forecasting activities as required.
    • Sets-up, coordinates and from time-to-time attends sales visits and customer specific marketing activities
    • Co-ordinates technical resources when required.
    • When required, confirms receipt of and ensures internal processing of customer orders.
    • When required, communicates with customer(s) for all changes to orders, including pricing, delivery information and information updates.
    • Follows workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Assist PR / Marketing work for Korea events
  • Support office administrative work

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education related to computer engineering and/or software systems, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Tele-sales and/or direct selling experience
  • Solid communication skills

Specialized Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of the company’s products, pricing and sales strategies.
  • Ability to cold-call and build relationships over the telephone
  • Escalation of customer requests/issues to various resources/contacts within the organization
  • Solid skills in managing effective customer relations.
  • Awareness of target markets and product offerings of competitors
  • Speaking Japanese / Mandarin / Korean is a plus
