Job Description Summary

BD is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Account Manager, Inside sales who connects with leads and customers to establish new relationships or maintain and grow existing accounts. Account Manager, Inside sales need to interact with prospects and customers via phone, email, or other electronic methods. The candidate is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from the initial contact to closing the sale, as well as any follow-up.

Job Description

Purpose of the position

  • Sell LS products through multichannel and inbound/outbound sales activities and focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers remotely.
  • Primarily deal with either walk-in customers or source sales via email, cold calling, and lead follow-up calls.
  • Drives customers’ decision making from remote either in conjunction with general sales channels or in direct contact with customers
  • Deliver sales target by developing and managing sales leads

Responsibilities

  • Manage and close Inside sales lead
  • Acknowledge receipt of sales lead from Cx Center and transfer qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team or distributor for further development and closure
  • Respond to customer sales queries in a timely and effective manner
  • Proactively contact customers through collaboration with MKT & Sales team to maximize revenue
  • Finding new sales opportunities through inbound calls follow-up and outbound calls
  • Promote and sell LS products to its clients and prospective customers
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule by promoting and selling BD products using Genesys call platform and emails
  • Develop plan and ensure its execution in order to maximize revenue of the company
  • Develop a deep understanding of product line and customer base
  • Find new sales opportunities through inbound calls follow-up and outbound calls

  • Strong ability to increase company’s pipeline through targeted traffic and demand generation.
  • Submit all required reports, plans and handle correspondence on time
  • Abide by BD’s ethical code and high moral standard

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Medical Science and Life Sciences (preferred)
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Life-sciences or medical device company(preferred)
  • 2-5 years of working experience as an inside (digital) sales position(preferred)
  • Modest English level
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Good level of competency in sales tools including SFDC, MS office
