Undertaking the role of Data Analyst at the Midlands and NW Bowel Cancer Screening Hub is a rare and unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated analyst. The right candidate will enjoy flexibility of hours with part or full time work pattern available. We are one of five Hubs delivering the England Bowel Screening Programme giving opportunity for involvement in national liaison. The ideal candidate will be confident to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision and able to proactively seek opportunities to use data analysis to improve Hub performance and operational work flow.

  • Produce data on the performance of the programme against key performance indicators and Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Analyse and interpret trends and advise on information for service planning, undertaking activity forecasts as required. Undertake capacity and business planning information analysis
  • Assist as appropriate in specification, design and development of databases, spreadsheets and information systems to assist the programme.
  • Assist in the management and reporting of research and development projects carried out within the programme hub, working with outside partners.
