Job Title: HR Field worker
Department: HR
Band: FW3
Reports To: HR Manager
Country/Location: ErbilIraq
Job Summary:
You will provide clerical and administrative assistance to meet specific HR service needs that support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will deliver quality support in your role, applying clearly defined HR processes, procedures and service standards.
Please note this is not a full-time staff position. The HR Field worker will receive training and be called in for daily work on an ad hoc basic. There is estimated to be approximately 15 to 20 days of work per month. The HR Field worker will conduct most of their activities in Erbil, with some work taking place at the CRS satellite office in Duhok and Mosul city.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to HR transactions and processes. Prepare, type, photocopy and scan employment-related documentation, contracts and amendments, correspondence letters etc.
- Provide responsive and high-quality service to employees with requests on personnel administration and clerical issues such as employment verification/confirmation letter, CRS employment IDs, adding to governorates access letters.
- Provide support to recruitment process: Advertise vacancies, setting up tests and interviews, Bridger check, etc.
- Support maintenance of personnel files, compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Any other responsibilities as directed by the HR Manager and Head of operations.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required. Professional diploma/certificate or courses in Administration or Human Resources Management a plus.
- Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in an administrative and/or human resources with. Experience with an international organization a plus.
- Experience using MS Office packages, in particular Excel and Word. Hands-on experience with data entry into online databases and forms.
Required Languages – Arabic and English

- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Strong customer service ethic and abilities
- Self-motivated to perform routine tasks independently and meet deadlines
Required/Desired Foreign Language
Travel Required (10% of time travel expected to field offices)
