Your tasks

• Develope and describe personnel deployment concepts (expats, locals) depending on the respective project setup (operating site, local Voith Hydro unit, sister company) in coordination between the hydropower project and the central departments involved (HR, Tax, Legal etc.); this ensures that project-specific requirements are met.
• Coordinate the provision of input for erection costing (working time model) as well as for detailed planning and implementation in project execution.
• Secure and review of residence law (relevant work permits, visas, local employment requirements such as Local Labor Market Opinion), personnel tax law (double taxation treaty), labor law as well as social security law in our project country.
• Develope of cost-effective working time models based on local working time regulations for our construction sites in consultation with the central departments.
• Coordinate and develope of labor contract extensions, local labor contracts and project related regulations.
• Together with the central departments, ensure professional support and advice for employees (m/f/d) in the assignment process and coordinate the application and follow-up of all relevant applications with the authorities.

Your profile

• Degree in legal studies or business law and/or relevant professional experience (tax consulting, human resources – secondment).
• Expert (m/f/d) in the relevant subject areas for international personnel assignments within and outside the EU (personnel tax, double taxation agreements, social security, labor law and residence law) with a focus on project business/construction sites.
• Very good knowledge in English and Portuguese language (written and spoken). Further language skills in German are an advantage.
• A structured way of working, high solution and result orientation as well as assertiveness.
• The ability to explain complex interrelationships simply.
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment.
