Higher People

Role

We are pleased to inform you of a new role that we are working on

Higher People are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the HR and Marketing professions.

Position: HR & Recruitment Project Manager (12 month FTC)Salary: £45,000 – £55,000Location: Manchester / Hybrid

So you know your way around a project, and more than that, you know your way around a HR Project. You live and breathe workflows and you love nothing more than pulling together a project plan, from start to finish…

PERFECT!

We’re looking for someone who’s able to see the utilisation of technology as a key factor in driving efficiencies in HR processes, and using automation to take over basic functional tasks.

But you’ve seen the title for this job (you clicked on the advert!) – so where does the “recruitment” aspect come in? Well, for the first 3 – 5 months, alongside your projects, you’ll be managing and supporting a team of 4-5 recruiters as they address the high volume recruitment of the organisation.

It’s not just a ‘bums on seats’ recruitment either. You’ll need to have an appreciation of data analysis and be able to track the ROI for adverts on job boards and paid campaigns across social media. You also understand the ever-growing influence that social media has on candidate attraction, being fully aware that we don’t work in a one-size-fits-all environment when it comes to where and how to advertise vacancies any more.

So who are we looking for? We’re looking for someone with experience managing and leading projects, particularly projects associated with streamlining processes (and utilising technology to do this). You’ll also have some experience with recruitment in your career history, whether you worked in-house (as a recruiter or HR professional) or for an agency.

Now picture yourself in this role in 6 months time… You were attracted by how forward thinking the organisation is and their ambitions to invest in technology to drive improvements, not only in recruitment but across the whole organisation. But what really stood out about this position was that you now play an active part in project managing the implementation and successful delivery of these projects.

The organisation is a national provider of social care services, working with individuals who have learning needs, disabilities, or drug/alcohol problems. From a recruitment perspective, they have done a lot of work to develop their EVP to try and boost their attractiveness as an employer.

Throughout lockdown the company operated in a fully remote capacity and, to some degree, they are continuing with that theme. The offices are there for those that want to use them but they’re happy for someone to continue to be based at home most of the time. Due to the benefits of team cohesion then the only requirement is to be at the office once a week.

If all this has caught your attention and you’d like to find out more then apply and let’s have a chat to discuss further.
