Job Purpose

 The position reports to the Senior HR & Admin Officer based in Baghdad and handles the daily administrative and HR duties in Baghdad office. The HR/admin officer will support the HR department in all administrative role and be in compliance with all IMC policies and local regulation and procedures. The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support to the various human resource functions of the south-central Iraq. This support will range from talent acquisition, Managing payroll, processing associated benefits, maintaining HR records, supporting the performance management system and targeted learning and development initiatives.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

 

·Prepare and manage the monthly payroll based on SOP for all Baghdad staff. Ensure all deduction and allowance placed correctly on payroll.

·Manage monthly TAX/ SOS reports as well as annual reports.

·Manage end-of-service processes, including resignation documentation, clearance forms, sending request for e-mail de-activation and return of business equipment.

·Responsible for preparing all Baghdad contracts and ensure that all necessary documents for amending contracts or end of contract are in place.  

·Responsible for creating Baghdad staff database and maintain it to country HR database responsible.

·Assist and arrange in conducting MAST trainings and other trainings as needed. Ensure all staff completed the training and tracking the training list.

·Ensure all employee staff data uploaded and updated on CP and recorded correctly.

·Ensuring all Job description are in place and signed.

·Assist and drive the recruitment process. Ensure the recruitment process in compliance with IMC national recruitment procedures.

·Ensure that the performance appraisal process all completed on time.

·Tracking all performance appraisals, Trainings, Induction, Orientation, recruitment trackers and sharing it on timely basis to relevant parties.

·Provide support to HR Baghdad field offices as needed and conduct field visit when needed.

·Prepare and submit updated HR related report on weekly, monthly or quarter bases for auditing purposes.

·Other relevant tasks as requested by the line manager.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualifications

 

 

Diploma degree in Business administration or related field. 

Experience

 

Two year experience in the Human resources and administration or related field.

Competency

Excellent computer skills and Microsoft office programs.

Very Good communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in English and Arabic.

Attention to details and well organized.

Must maintain the confidentiality of information.

Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results.

Highly motivated and good team working skill.
