The HMDA Compliance Analyst I will assist the Bank in its responsibilities under HMDA, including by gathering, reviewing, and preparing data and information for the HMDA LAR.

Responsibilities

  • Review and log information from loan systems containing HMDA-covered transactions (generally dwelling secured consumer loans and dwelling secured commercial loans with certain purposes)
  • Verify and maintain the accuracy of the mortgage division’s Regulation C (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) information
  • Review and correct, if needed, information on each loan pertaining to the Regulation C
  • Communicate with mortgage lending personnel, as needed, regarding any Regulation C issue/exception
  • Utilize reports as needed for identifying HMDA-covered transactions and/or transactions requiring review or verification
  • Utilize checklists, log sheets, or other such documents to gather and verify data points required by Regulation C or the Bank’s processes related to Regulation C
  • Assist the HMDA Manager, HMDA Senior Analyst or Compliance Officer as needed with daily work requirements
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Combination of organizational, credit and communication skills
  • Good basic computer and data entry skills
  • Working knowledge of microsoft office suite of products including outlook, word, and excel
  • Good reasoning skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with the personnel of other departments within the bank
