ROLE:

Developing & Executing key growth sales & product branding strategies, tactics and action plans to expand the company footprint across India.

 

Driving sales efforts in order to enhance the business’s position with consumers and to solidify the position of the business in the market; includes maintenance and development of the business’s sales information platforms, collaborate with manufacturing, market intelligence, sales training, and consumer loyalty programs.

 

Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, regarding technical support for activities, striving for best in class products and business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations, managing teams and projects across the business. 

 

Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills.

 

Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the S&M function to ensure customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives along with strong &long-lasting customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Development

– Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans towards business objectives & financial targets.

– Conducts market research / analysis to understand the product market potential and to identify opportunities for growing the business’s sales and communicating key messages.

– Develop the pre-launch sales strategy to engage targeted market.

2. General & Task Management

– Create a compelling value proposition for the target customer segments to enhance sales & customer experience.

– Generate Sales Leads / Inquiries and closing / booking orders so as to meet annual targets.

– Review all marketing strategies for customers and evaluate all advertising & marketing plans to achieve objectives.

– Management of various key accounts & Ensure compliance of all finance procedures & policies

3. People Management

Work closely with the senior sales operations department for streamlining sales processes/strategies, allocating quotas, balancing territories, and enhancing visibility of pipeline management.

4. Financial Budget & Control

– Input and hold responsibility for Sales & Marketing budgets

5. Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

 

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Align planning, forecasting and budgeting initiatives with business objectives in addition to developing departmental goals and objectives for further sales effectiveness.
  • Develop processes that enable visible and transparent management and that utilize the available tools or implement new ones that bring about increased sales effectiveness.
  • Pursue opportunities that increase sales volumes for the business and keeps track of prospective markets and consumers, developing processes that communicate key differentiators of the business/product in order to attract those prospects.
  • Drive towards annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends
  • Implement consumer segmentation, targeting, and positioning initiatives that assist senior sales management/executives in deciding resource allocation based on the internal requirements and the external market.
  • Responsible for sales analytics, sales tracking, sales effectiveness, and reporting of sales performance.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of sales efforts and Develop improvement plans that are based on sales performance reports and surveys.
  • Play a mentorship role to key sales operations personnel, assisting in the execution of their duties upon request, ensuring constant improvement in their professional skills, and preparing them to take up his position in his absence or retirement.
  • Ensure the availability of proper sales training initiatives as well as overseeing the planning and management for roles, responsibilities, values, and rules of engagement in the sales department.
  • CRM Implementation
  • Identification of solutions and technologies that drive sales efficiency and, consequently, revenue growth.
  • Identify market trends and tracks key competitors and on a regular basis, conducting competitive and SWOT analyses.
  • Develop sales reports for senior sales management and relevant stakeholders as well as driving the adoption and usage of sales solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the stakeholders for the mutual agreement towards targets & quality execution of the project on time
  • Assist the sales department in driving sales growth strategies and ensuring that these strategies are adopted in all levels of the department.
  • Develop and maintain a network of builders, consultants and general contractors for long-term business and sustained growth.
  • Actively participate in sales events, seminars, and workshops, establishing the business as an industry leader while simultaneously identifying, and capitalizing on any prospects.
  • Lead Marketing activities in major markets through road shows, Press Event, Conferences, etc.
