Role: Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications (Maternity Cover)

Location: Manchester / Remote

Salary: £60,000-£70,000

Hours: Full time maternity cover role, 12-month contract

The Role

As the Head of Brand, Marketing & Communications, you will Lead and own several strategic Brand, Marketing and Communications priorities, including delivering new positioning and messaging framework, CRM implementation, evolution of digital marketing strategy and continued development of the team

Responsibilities include:

  • Own the definition (and successful execution) of Grayce’s Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) strategy for 2022, ensuring that it delivers against the annual business plan, delivering marketing initiatives that increase sales
  • Lead external suppliers and partners relationships to deliver added brand value, enhanced market positioning and raised profile through effective PR, thought leadership and awards
  • Be the BMC spokesperson and leader in the business, understanding multi-stakeholder priorities to deliver relevant client campaigns and communicating the success and value of BMC to the business
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful evidence-based strategies
  • Leadership of the Brand, Marketing and Communications team to deliver optimal team performance while supporting the teams ongoing development
  • Lead the constant optimisation of our digital marketing and prospecting activity (including website and automation), reporting on success
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality optimised content and collateral including literature, digital assets, webinars
  • Ensure Grayce internal communications, events and engagement improvement plan is delivered
  • Work closely with Content Manager to develop thought leadership and stay on message
  • Work closely with Creative Manager to ensure that campaigns are on-brand
  • Define and manage marketing budget effectively

About you

  • Have at least 5 years’ experience leading and developing a high performing Marketing function
  • Have exceptional project management skills, able to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously with an ability to deliver results to deadline
  • Have a proven track record in delivering brand enhancing initiatives and augmented market positioning strategies
  • Have experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (E.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Have solid knowledge of website analytics tools
  • Be metrics-driven with an eye for detail, opportunities, or risks
  • Be very proactive, forward thinking and a self-starter
  • Be a fantastic communicator and able to build relationships quickly
  • Be able to make sound commercial decisions
  • Have ability to work flexibly and keep up with our fast-paced dynamic business
  • Have great business acumen
  • Ability to manage organisational priorities and cascade these to the team
