What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting high performing teams across Webhelp sites
- Investigating availability and suitability of options for potential new premises
- Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
- Preparing supplier tender documentation and partnering with Procurement to ensure value for money and world class service
- Ensuring all essential hard and soft services are continually supported by planned and reactive maintenance
- Providing governance for the successful management of contractors and projects
- Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
- Directing and planning essential central services
- Ensuring departmental Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) records are up to date and accurate
- Ensuring conformance with all compliance aspects of health, safety environment and security for planned and reactive maintenance
- Leading the appropriate response to emergencies or urgent issues
- Supporting the development and implementation of Group strategies
- Submit external reports and support Group with submissions i.e. CDP, UN Global Compact
- Introduce new technologies to support with the carbon reduction strategies
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant ISO accreditations and environmental/ H&S legislation
- Providing a framework and controls for the safety of staff, visitors and contractors
- Overseeing the environmental & H&S performance of the UK estate to ensure high performance against pre-determined targets including energy, waste, water, travel, engagement, renewable energy, accidents, incidents and introducing best practice
What you’ll need
- Engineering, environmental or relevant qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience in a facilities or property management role
- Strong facilities and project management background with demonstrable ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and teams to ensure business deliverables are met
- Strong contract and contractor management experience with proven procurement and negotiation skills
- Experience with ISO, CDP and SBTi
- Fully conversant with Safety Health and Environment (SHE) legislation
- Ability to manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Research skills and the ability to draw information from various sources to come to conclusions with implementable innovative recommendations
- Clear and concise writing skills, with the ability to produce informative and concise presentations in support of departmental communications and proposals
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 packages
