Tasks
The Head of Cargo APAC leads the Swiss WorldCargo team in APAC (ca. 45 employees, 8 locations) and ensures successful cargo sales, excellent customer service, and high-quality operations across the region. The position is located in Zurich, very frequent travel is required.
- Ensure and enable above-market commercial performance in APAC region
- Further develop the organisational set-up and enable a high performing, agile and aligned team
- Lead local managers and teams, ensuring high motivation and high performance
- Foster a “sales hunter mindset”, ensuring active and data-driven sales activities and the optimization of the product mix at each station
- Ensure best-in-class customer service while increasing efficiency by further developing the “Virtual Customer Care Center” (spanning all in stations in APAC)
- Ensure high quality operations through effective provider management (Ground Handling, General Sales Agents)

Requirements
We seek an established leader with a world-class commercial acumen and proven cross-cultural experience.
- Outstanding commercial acumen
- Proven track record in change management and strong implementation drive
- Experience in data-driven sales and performance management desirable
- > 5 Years of experience in logistics or aviation
- > 5 Years of leadership experience
- Cross-cultural experience, skillful communication across all levels and diplomatic skill
- Fluent communication/writing skills in English
- Willingness for very frequent travel
