Head of Business Change Management – Strategy & Transformation – UAE

The Role : The Head of Business Change Management is accountable for the end-to-end Business Change Management activities and deliverables related to all live transformation initiatives, tech- or non-tech driven, across Alshaya. The role is accountable for ensuring the continuous improvement and consistent application of the Change Management Office methodology and toolkit by all Change Management and Training resources including internal, contractor and 3rd party. The role is also accountable for ensuring that the business has a clear view of the overall transformation roadmap to achieve the organisations stated strategic objectives. The Head of Change will work closely with key stakeholders like the L&D Director, Transformation Delivery Director, HR Director, Business Director, and Heads of relevant functions to ensure that the transformation is business-owned and led. Job Responsibilities:In terms of key responsibilities, the Head of Change will guide the Change Leads working below them to ensure the right methodologies, approach and capabilities are in place for each of the projects, driving strong business engagement, adoption and ownership. Theywill work at both a strategic and tactical level, managing stakeholders and being part of the overall Programme Leadership teams; they will be required to be hands-on with respect to the creation of deliverables, responding to ad-hoc requests from Exec and Senior Programme Leaders, and in terms of the detailed review and quality assurance of all change management activities by their teams.* Agree and Implement CMO Change Team Structure and Terms of Reference* Manage Change and Training resources to ensure successful delivery of programme outcomes, ensuring the right resources are in place and are sufficiently (up)skilled* Quality Assurance of the entire end-to-end Change Management delivery lifecycle on all live projects* Continuous Change Resource Forecasting based on demand pipeline, working with Director of ITBPs (‘owner of Demand)* Maintain and Continuously Improve Standardised Change Deliverables within the CMO Methodology / Delivery Framework* Create and Maintain Master Change Summary/Roadmap (‘Blobby Chart or similar)* Work with Change Leads / Senior Change Leads, CMO Communications Manager and Internal Communications to create and maintain Communications Packs on Vision/Roadmap* Oversee the creation of the rolling TOM Change Impact Assessment, supported by the Process Impacts Manager within the CMO* Create and Maintain Stakeholder Map and Engagement Plan (Working with ChangeLeads to Define Aggregate View)* Work with Change Leads to Define and Execute Quality Assurance Audits of Change Deliverables and Progress* Establish Regular Business Stakeholder Updates and Work with Change Leads to Deliver* Agree Standardised Business Engagement Model (e.g. Super Users / Ambassadors /Champions) Across all Programmes (as required)and Define Standardized Onboarding Processes* Define Business Change Tracking Processes for Workstreams and Implement Standardised Processes* Define Approach to User Adoption and Post-Go Live Continuous Improvement (working with Change Leads, Business Director, BPOs, Director of ITBPs)* Work with Director of ITBPs to ensure robust and continuous carry-through of business benefits to adoption metrics* Vendor management of external change management resources, supported by the Vendor Management Office* Oversee and support aggregate Organisational Change Analysis and Design and Ensure Consistent Stakeholder Support and Buy-In* Support in the Definition and Implementation of the Target Operating Model (TOM) for various business areas as requested, working alongside the ITBP BA community* Escalation of Key Risks and Issues as appropriate* Support ad-hoc as requested on Communications and Engagement Packs including Executive communications* Any other ad-hoc or hands-on support required by the Change Leads, Business Director, BPOs, Transformation Director or Programme Managers* Create, Support or lead as required on Training deliverables* Manage any other business change-related deliverable relevant to the individual project as per the Change Management Offices methodology Job Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Languages, or HR; graduate degree preferred* Certified in one or more Project disciplines: Business Analysis, Value Analysis,Project Management, PROSCI, Agile Methodology, Lean, Six Sigma etc.* Certified in one or more industry disciplines: Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, HR,Digital, etc.Experience of leading Change Management workstreams/teams in complex operatingenvironment within a business undergoing transformational technology enabledbusiness change* Experience of Change in a business implementing a replacement Enterprise Systemsis highly desirable.Experience in ERP change process / SAP* Expert understanding of End to End Change Management process* Experience of working in a pressured, time-bound project environment* Experience of working within a customer orientated function and supportingtransformation within this area* Proven experience in working with a variety of stakeholders from differentorganisational levels and functions to achieve successful project outcomes* Retail or service sector experience preferred* Understanding of how to embed cultural change
