Purchaser : Job DescriptionPerform administrative and operational functions towards purchasingContribute in decreasing purchase cost of raw materialsDevelop strategic buying plans and ensure smooth buying operations through vendor identification, evaluation, and selectionResponsible for daily PO creation and submissionWork closely with the inventory team and Supply chain team & production unit Managers on reorders and to help maintain adequate stock levelsProcurement of all requisitioned items meeting criteria such as quantity, quality and delivery dateAssist cross functionally in initiative requisitions and orders and solve problems as they occurCost reporting and invoice validationClose management of waste and near expiry to ensure that over-purchase is not occurring.Ensure that new launches are successful through the timely purchase of new materials and ingredients.Accurate use of the ERP system.Perform ad-hoc requests and analyses as neededQualifications ��� Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesBachelor degreeMinimum 5 years experience in sourcing, negotiating, purchasingStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in Food ProcurementMust have at least 5 years of Experience in sourcing and purchase of Dairy Products, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Frozen MeatExperience in Distribution/Production Company in UAE is a mustJob originally posted on GrabJobs.
