Position Overview:

CanadaHelps is seeking an energetic, passionate, eCommerce Growth Marketing Specialist to drive donor acquisition, revenue, and growth through www.CanadaHelps.org .

Reporting to the eCommerce Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing B2C/eCommerce marketing strategies to drive acquisition and growth. You will develop campaigns to acquire new customers and drive growth. You will also create and support initiatives to improve eCommerce conversion and the first-time donor experience, such as website optimization (including A/B testing), email automation, and more.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns that drive donor acquisition and growth, including Paid SEM, Paid Social, email, occasional print ads, DM, or other offline campaigns, and more
  • Plans and execute onboarding and new donor email marketing automation
  • Plan and execute campaigns, landing pages, website and spots, and website updates, with a focus on engaging, conversion-focused copy and content, to support your campaign work
  • Drive continuous improvements by identifying and managing implementation, measurement, and optimization of A/B testing opportunities across every campaign and throughout our website
  • Brief and work closely with our marketing production develop on requirements for email and website development and collaborate during reviews to ensure a sperb finished project
  • Develop content and write copy to support marketing activities and optimization, with a focus on conversion
  • Track and report metrics and success criteria and help identify opportunities to retain and grow customer business in key channels

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience in an eCommerce (or similar conversion-focused environment), with a focus on growth and acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience working on email, email automation, segmentation, and other digital marketing technology.
  • Hands-on experience using Google Analytics and WordPress (or similar tools).
  • Experience with Paid SEM, website optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Strong conversion-focused writing skills, with experience writing digital and email marketing copy.
  • Highly accountable for your work, you are organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
  • University degree, preferably in business, marketing, or related field.

  • You have a passion for data-driven marketing strategies and optimization, and will enjoy keeping your technical and analytical skills sharp.
