About Us:

AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

AL-AMEEN is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

AL-AMEEN also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance.

Summary:

Designing projects posters, brochures, and banners in addition to designing all collateral required for promotional, documentation, explanation, or raising awareness purposes in a way that suits the visual identity of the organization and the visibility plans assigned by the project partners or donors. Also, designing materials for the projects explains the project needs assessment, the projects activities progression, and the project’s impact on the beneficiaries and community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality infographics for the implemented projects illustrating the outcomes and achievements.
  • Develop graphs, charts, analytics, illustrative maps, diagrams, and graphics supporting the development and update of information materials.
  • Design the Layout of reports, information sheets, and other publication materials according to needs.
  • Assist in standardizing all existing products and templates such as info sheets, presentations, … etc. as well as fonts, formatting, icons, images, and layout techniques.
  • Deliver creative graphic and technical solutions for the use of new media (roll-up banners, etc.)
  • Improve and edit artwork, posters, banners, brochures, charts, and other graphic elements.
  • Assess new standards, technologies, and trends aligned with Al-Ameen’s visibility needs.
  • Create a wide range of graphics layouts for the program and network which includes illustrations and photography
  • Designing local publications, including Al-Ameen’s reports, magazines, presentations, and all brand-related materials (roll-up banners, etc.)
  • Design of Al-Ameen’s global publications (reports, articles, newsletters, infographics vb.) and related brand materials
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, organization logos, and websites with software.
  • Design and create presentations in PowerPoint – working from concepts, drawings, and fundamental instruction from the project team
  • Design electronic invitations and event-related collateral
  • Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type, and style and submitting them for approval
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary
  • Receive, track, and implement all design briefs in accordance with Al-Ameen’s vision.
  • Help with all organization’s projects as required.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Supervision:

  • Graphic design programs maintenance
  • Archiving the final products

Major responsibilities:

Design leaflets, posters, and banners for projects agreed upon with the sponsors and within the visual image prescribed by the Marketing Department, including (uniform clothing – signboards – instructional panels – communication plans with the beneficiaries – identification panels for rooms and employees – car stickers and cartons – large banners – motivational panels – awareness leaflets – advertisements Editorial….etc)

Position reports to: Media Production Coordinator

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree not required

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or institute degree in media, design, or related direction is preferred
  • Experience in using the designing tools of Adobe, especially Photoshop, illustrator, and in-design
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia, or related field.

Languages:

  • Arabic and English are Preferred (speaking and writing)
