Grants & Engagement Lead – Remote

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Grants & Engagement Lead to lead the activities and staff within the Grants & Engagement Team. Reporting to the Director of Growth Strategic Operations, you will play a key role in the Growth Operations Team in grant management, fundraising operations and supporter relations.

The Grants & Engagement Lead will have the opportunity to collaborate extensively across our global family, for example working with international fundraising teams to ensure we efficiently administer supporter donations, grant donations and key fundraising campaigns. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the financial sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals through effectively coordinating grant reporting for our major donors. This role will make a real impact, through the creation of a world class supporter engagement model and development of a grant management strategy, working in close collaboration across the organisation.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Create operational plans for the Grants & Engagement team that clearly lay out the timing of activities and budget requests cross the calendar year
• Coordinate the reporting of major donor grants, working other internal teams to meet the needs of our existing donor base and to capitalise on opportunities that arise, enhancing the long-term financial sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals.
• Lead and optimize the grant administration process including editing and reviewing all grant reports and proposals before submission, as well as managing timelines and deliverables relating to the grant management process
• Maintain and develop relationships with Mary’s Meals International supporters, utilising our CRM system to optimise efficiency
• Oversee all supporter engagement work, including managing any escalated supporter queries and ensuring all supporter data is held compliantly
• Manage supporter relationships and donations for international supporters who reside in countries where Mary’s Meals do not yet have a formal presence.

Experience of grant management and donor reporting is essential to be considered for this role. You will also bring exceptional communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels. You will be responsible for leading a newly established team and therefore previous experience in people management is also essential. Finally, you will be able to demonstrate experience of successfully managing change and implementing policies and process to improve grant administration.
