Association Management Center

Association Management Center is hiring a Grants Coordinator. This position serves as part of the Professional Relations and Development (PRD) Grants Department, which provides grant management support to AMC clients. The position will report to the senior grants manager and will help in all pre- and post- award stages of grant management, including grant research and reporting as well as proposal writing and submission.

You will be expected to:

Work collaboratively with client teams to develop grant proposals for medical education and other projects, stewarding any awarded grants. Carrying out steps including, but not limited to:

  • Supporting prospect research
  • Researching and accumulating content for each part of proposals, including needs statements and needs assessments
  • Writing, proof-reading and editing proposals
  • Supporting activities related to grant budget development
  • Uploading and submitting grants & reconciliations through grantor portals (or other submission means)

Coordinate each stage of the grant cycle with a positive customer service attitude (towards client teams, PRD team and funders). Including, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining the grants team calendar
  • Scheduling meetings with internal service and account teams
  • Tracking paperwork and forms required for grant development, submissions, LOAs and reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with medical education accreditation regulations and the Physician Payments Sunshine Act
  • Communicating with all stakeholders to meet deadlines
  • Support team efficiency by implementing and updating (as necessary) grant team processes and procedures.
  • Effectively use databases, including Salesforce, for tracking and managing grant reports.
  • Support stewardship activities, serving both clients and funders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and demonstrated experience:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • 2 years of experience coordinating and writing grant proposals, preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills; proficient with MS Office applications with ability to learn multiple platforms including Personify, Salesforce
  • Healthcare Grant Writing experience, preferred
  • Self-starter/independent worker requiring minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects/priorities
  • Commitment to company values
  • Bachelor’s degree
