JOB PURPOSE:

Project manage implementation of Amnesty International’s Global Supporter’s Growth and Engagement project which seeks to strengthen Amnesty International’s capacity for supporter growth, engagement and impact in national entities.

Provide strategic, operational and technical support to national entities in the implementation of their support growth and engagement strategic plans. Design and deliver tailored support packages to prioritised national entities to help them achieve growth and engagement objectives. Deliver specialised support and capacity building in the areas of strategy and planning, digital marketing.

ABOUT YOU:

An enthusiastic, project manager with sophisticated strategic planning skills, extensive digital marketing experience and an understanding of digital systems. You will ideally be a design thinker versed in the development of new services, able to deliver specialised support and facilitate training.

You will be a strategic thinker able to focus on detailed implementation whilst not loosing sight of the big picture. You will be able to keep abreast in dynamic environments recognising changing needs quickly and adapting services to meet new emerging conditions.

You will have very good knowledge of human rights and be passionate about achieving impact. You will have experience working in complex and geographically dispersed organisations, and be a firm believer in collaboration, integrated ways of working and learning. You know about influencing skills and capacity building.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage the Global Movement Growth Project.
  • Provide leadership and coordinate supporter growth and engagement projects in priority National Entities – including helping in the development and implementation of supporter growth strategies and digital marketing activities.
  • Ensure integrated planning at national and global level – managing inter-dependencies across teams and entities.
  • Establish and oversee implementation of a learning system that allows entities across the Amnesty movement to replicate and escalate best practice.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of project management within a complex organization across cross- functional and multi-cultural teams in global environment.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on acquisition, engagement and campaigning. Particularly focused on training and capacity building.
  • Extensive experience developing strategies and operational plans
  • Excellent capacity building skills and an experienced facilitator.
