To deliver on our mission and serve people in need worldwide, we are embracing technology and digitization. We are searching for a Global Digitization Lead to drive this effort and create impact. The role starts as soon as possible, if this sounds interesting, read on!

As Global Digitalization Lead you will shape Malteser International’s technical strategy, and lead on delivery. You will work with teams across the organisation, and with our external partners. This role reports directly to the General Secretary.

Your responsibilities:

  • Help Malteser deliver on its mission to help people in need around the world
  • Engage with stakeholders and teams across the organisation to understand digital needs and gaps
  • Create a digital transformation strategy that will enable us to meet to measure baselines and monitor our ambitious goals and fulfil our potential
  • Setup and lead agile and/or lean implementation program, including managing roadmaps, milestones and KPIs to make our work more efficient
  • Work hand in hand with our teams to deliver transformation
  • Optimise our existing Information Technology systems to support our operations
  • Lead on evaluation, procurement and adoption of new digital solutions
  • Evangelise data-driven decision making across the organisation, supporting and empowering staff to do even more with data
  • Keep up with innovations and changes in the technology sector to develop a dynamic digital strategy
  • Be a leader within the organisation, embodying our values
  • Represent Malteser International with our external partners

Your profile:

  • You are passionate about our mission and cultural values
  • You have professional experience in a product / technology / programme management role
  • You are skilled in Design Thinking, Process Modelling, CX/UX, Lean and Agile practices
  • You have a track record of delivering complex programmes and creating impact with technology and data
  • You are agile, analytical and deeply data-orientated – you get the root cause of problems, design solutions, test them, measure your impact and learn quickly
  • You are empathetic! You love collaborating with others and understanding user problems
  • You are a superb communicator and resolve conflict with patience and diplomacy
  • You are ambitious and creative; a technology visionary who delights in working in fast- paced rapidly changing environments
  • You are a leader: versatile, curious and decisive. You empower and support others
  • You have a University degree in Information Technology or any other relevant field
  • Business fluent in English and German, further foreign language skills (French, Italian and Spanish) are an advantage
