Overview
The Global Category Manager ICT Hardware, Software, and Services is responsible for developing and executing the global, regional and local procurement strategy for ICT hardware, software, and ICT services. The scope of spend categories are ICT and Operational Technology closed to our products. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating frame agreements, and ensuring the company obtains the best possible terms while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Resilient Supply Chain, risk mitigation, compliance / ESG, value creation for internal customers / stakeholders and TCO consideration are important factors.
Responsibilities
- The position encompasses three roles: Global ICT Category Manager, Regional ICT Category Manager, and Local ICT Category Manager
- Building up and further developing this new Global ICT and Operational Technology Spend responsibility
- Support the Global Head Procurement SKAN Group in building up this new global procurement organization
- Building up and implementing a lean and efficient Source – /P2P process for own spend categories
Strategic Sourcing and Category Management:
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for ICT hardware, software, and services as well as for Operational Technology
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the IT procurement space
- Develop and manage a category strategic procurement plan that aligns with the company’s overall procurement strategy, global IT systems road map, compliance / ESG and business objectives
- Supports SKAN Sites in important local country specific negotiations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and outcomes
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, including supply chain disruptions and cybersecurity threats
- Ensure a resilient Supply Chain
Hardskills
- Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture and dependencies in regards to strategic sourcing
- Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba).
- Change management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of global ICT and Operational Technology industry trends, suppliers, and technologies.
- Feeling comfortable in fast growing company and contributing to further growth
- Feeling comfortable with high complexity in Sourcing Projects
- Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation skills
