IKEA
You have at least 1-3 years of experience in accounting and / or auditing.
You are acquainted with tax (VAT), GAAP and reporting processes, able to use automated accounting systems (CODA will be an asset).
Experience in shared services or multicultural environment, as well as education in accounting, finance or economics is welcomed.
You have solution focused approach and ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of daily duties.
Your interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are something you want to show us.
You love sharing knowledge and build strong relationships with team members and business partners.
Communication in English is your strong point and you are eager to use it while cooperating with various business partners. Communication in polish is must
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare system payments according to IKEA process and deadlines,
• Investigate return payments and resolve issues connected with payments,
• Book bank statements and investigate unidentified positions,
• Book sales reports and internal transactions and investigate discrepancies,
• Support producing monthly closing reports for the organization, including results of month booking, reconcile suspense accounts and payment statistics,
• Cooperate with other financial teams to deliver the best results for suppliers and business partners
• Manage the above responsibilities according to the service levels agreed with the business partner
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of process and working routines and strive to constantly reduce the average time spent on operational tasks
• Take an active role in coaching and developing Junior Accountant
