Your role

• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

Your team
You will join the crew Client Self Service where we work according to Agile@UBS, this represents the new way of working at UBS with the aim to quickly develop innovative solutions and to digitize key client products end to end. In this crew you will be working in one of our 10 pods running Scrum focused on building digital self-service solutions for existing and prospective clients. Our pods have a proven track record of being first to market and having direct client impact by evolving our solutions accessed by thousands of users every day. Furthermore, while you are working on creating the world’s best banking platform you get the chance to join broaden your skills by joining various trainings according to your personal interest, sessions on innovation topics, social events and much more.

Your expertise
In addition to having an open mindset and high motivation you also recognize yourself in this description:

• able to code in Java Script
• experience with React JS, Redux, Webpack and up to date with the latest Java Script features
• knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, CSS preprocessor sand responsive web design
• developer focused on web applications with REST interfaces ideally within the finance

sector

• know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC, for example code reviews and test driven development
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• Information technology degree or equivalent with a focus in software development
