Right now, we’re looking for a caring and organised individual to join us as a Food Services Assistant at Fountains LodgeCare Home in Tunbridge Wellsto help us be the positive difference to our resident’s lives.
Working hours and salary
£10.35 per hour
33 hours per week with alternate weekends
What Your Typical Day Involves
- Providing excellent customer service to all our residents
- Ensuring high quality food presentation at all times
- Serving meals and drinks to residents in the dining areas and to their rooms
- Cleaning of the dining area ensuring it’s tidy and presentable
- Serving refreshments outside of meal times to residents, relatives and visitors as required
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in a customer facing environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, you want to deliver an excellent service to make our residents feel at home. You’ll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Comfortable communicating with others – nothing is too much trouble, you’re always happy to help the wider team, cherishing the little moments with our residents.

About Our Home
Outside Tunbridge Wells in Southborough just off London Road, Fountains Lodge has great transport links with regular buses into Tunbridge Wells. Recently refurbished, the home provides care in both a residential and nursing setting with end of life support when required. With a real family feel, the team are passionate about providing person centred care, championing dignity and independence – organising a wide variety of activities meaning there’s no typical day here. As part of the team, you’re supported from day one to learn and develop with regular training and team meetings.
