Where you come in:

In this full-time, 12-monbth fixed term contract, you will be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, and have responsibility for creating positive impact for children in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Coordinating education related programming a nd booking publishing activities, you will be a key part of our Program Services Team and report to our Head of Program Services.

You will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating the design and delivery of Library For All’s programming with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities,
  • Identifying and delivering opportunities including responding to new funding opportunities and reporting on current opportunities to create greater impact,
  • Management of program budgets and ensuring timely and quality delivery of program outputs, and
  • Coordination monitoring & evaluation and reporting as part of our Program Services team.

…You identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander* and are an experienced program professional in the field of language, education delivery, and or literacy initiatives with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia. Have exceptional interpersonal skills and a flexible communication style and a proven ability to set and achieve bold goals, while working autonomously in a fast-growing organization with strong ambitions

This role requires:

  • Experience working in the field of language, education delivery, literacy initiatives or aid programming,
  • Experience in a Program Coordinator role in community development, library services or an education related environment,
  • Demonstrated awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and cross-cultural community needs and sensitivities related to working in a cross-cultural environment,
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people.
