Our Client, worldwide leading group in the mining and metal sector, is looking for their subsidiary based 60KM south west of Stuttgart, a

Financial Controller (m/f).

Job partly home office with regular presence to company office based in Altensteig-Walddorf area.

The position reports directly to plant Head of Finance and functionally to Division Head of Controlling.

Manages consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities to ensure consolidated reporting to support division management team in business decision making.

Main Responsibilities

Cost and profitability analysis by product, client and facility

Definition and implementation of Cost System throughout the organization

Preparation of Annual budgets and Monthly Reports to assess objectives achievement and review vs actual

Explanations for deviations for the period vs previous periods, budget and forecast

Provide information allowing to take decisions to improve efficiency in the production process

Support the CFO in preparing CAPEX projects justification

Efficiency improvements: establish and monitor benefits resulting from efficiency improvement projects (ERP and reporting tools & process)

Manpower cost: work with HR to understand and explain variances vs comparable periods

Work with Repair & Maintenance team to understand and explain cost variances

SGA cost analysis

Production related cost analysis

Responsible for Business Plan, Forecast, Actuals, Strategic plan, etc

Candidate Profile

Self-driven with excellent analytical and systems skills

“Hands-on” approach with sound problem solving, communication and organization (establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, time management) skills

Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent

2 to 5 years of experience in the Finance department in a manufacturing environment or in external audit for industrial/commercial companies

Good knowledges of Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting and Controlling/reporting principles

Native German and fluent in English is mandatory

Able to take initiatives

Capable to interact with different types of people at all levels in the organization

Results driven, self-starter, problem solver with proven analytical skills
