Financial Analyst

CMA is working with a growing Financial Services business, based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Reporting Team as an Analyst, supporting the business through an exciting period of change.

What will the role involve?

• Preparation of regulatory reports. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required regulatory reports covering a UK investment firm, bank and holding company including COREP, FINREP and Bank of England reporting;
• Process development. Continuous improvement of existing processes looking to streamline processes, resolve outstanding issues and enhance accuracy of the reporting process;
• Documentation of procedures. Preparation and maintenance of accurate and detailed desktop procedures;
• Automation of reporting. Using the existing regulatory reporting system to deliver an automated solution. This will involve significant work to develop underlying data accuracy and delivery;
• Ad hoc projects and reporting as and when required.

Suitable Candidate

• You must have an understanding of regulated banking and capital markets in the UK;
• You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in regulatory reporting and knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements;
• Possess strong Excel skills;
• Have experience of working with and manipulating large data sets.
