Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Accountant | Korean Language

Hays has partnered with a Global Company who have recently partnered with leaders in the industry to work on a large scale project. They are seeking a financial accountant to assist with this project in their Brisbane office.
Your new role
As the Financial Accountant you will have various responsibilities.
Some core duties include:
- Reviewing and approving journals
- Supervision of month-end and variance analysis
- Preparation of quarterly consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, involving Australian statutory and International reporting
- Management of external and internal quarterly reviews and year-end audit
- Assistance with consolidated income tax return and tax effect accounting
You will report to the International HQ and also be required to liaise with stakeholders, whilst working a part of a supportive local team. You will also need to complete ad hoc duties as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
In your role as the Financial Accountant you will be completing various duties involving reporting and analysis and therefore you will require a high attention to detail. You will also need to have a good understanding of IFRS and have experience in a relevant role. Advanced Excel skills are essential and SAP experience is desired. As the Financial Accountant good communication skills in both English and Korean are necessary. It is also essential that you are CA/CPA Qualified.
