Financial Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group are working on an exclusive basis to support a household name business in their recruitment of a progressive Financial Accountant.

This Financial Accountant role is an excellent step for someone qualified or approaching qualification to expand their skillset and develop their career in one of the premier businesses on the South Coast.

What will the role involve?

• Work within an established and forward thinking team to ensure the finance function for the business operates with efficiency and remains fully compliant;
• Support the month end close and deal with statutory returns;
• Review changes within the business and ascertain their impact on the finance function so as to respond accordingly;
• Oversee inventory control and purchase to pay process while also dealing with banking requirements and optimising cash flow;
• Ensure integrity of the balance sheet and ensure effective controls are in place.

Suitable Candidate

• Applicants for the Financial Accountant role will ideally be CIMA/ACCA or ACA finalist or qualified candidates with the relevant experience will be of particular interest to this client;
• Experience of dealing with US entities and using a large system such as Oracle or SAP is desirable;
• Strong technical understanding will be very beneficial. Experience of US GAAP or IFRS 15 will be of particular interest to this business.
