Cerner is hiring for a Consultant II to help implement and manage projects. As a team lead, you will be responsible for a variety of managerial duties including analyzing and reviewing forecasting, team billability, associate complex issues, as well as a mentor for associates as they progress in their career. As a Consultant, you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with clients to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coach clients on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. You will also consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. As a key member of the team, you will maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives, coach and mentor associate consultants and supporting internal team initiatives. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

• At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
• At least 1 year of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
• At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.
• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate management or leadership experience

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
