Located in Waggaman, LA – C&P is looking for an on-site Finance Manager – needs to have an active CPA, or within 6 months of obtaining – This includes preparing and generating reports, presenting strategy recommendations, operational analysis, cost analysis, and process as it relates to all aspects of the business and overseeing financial transactions. Act as a hands-on business partner, assisting the CFO and management teams with decision making, including the development and implementation of software, policies, and procedures in order to optimize the company’s operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
  • Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, technical & security processes, and future revenues.
  • Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecast, and planning process for C&P while conducting hands-on cost analysis within the fabrication facility.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent required
  • Audit experience with a financial firm a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of finance, accounting, or similar experience, CPA required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; team work and collaboration is a corner stone of high-energy corporate culture.
  • Organized, able to prioritize, strategic operational thinking, set and meet long and short-term financial goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and problem solving.
  • Understands this role will continue to expand as the business grows, primarily focusing on short term success and long term visions of growth
