Finance Assistant

Kingspan Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry, operating from our site in Pembridge, Herefordshire. With 188 sites worldwide Kingspan is a global leading employer. We are experiencing significant growth right now and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to conduct invoice and expense processing, changes to suppliers, maintenance of Payables Ledger, and supplier statement reconciliations. The Finance Assistant role is being offered as a permanent position.

Responsibilities of our Finance Assistant:

• Processing of invoices from suppliers for Kingspan Insulation Ltd and EcoTherm Insulation Ltd, recording purchase order and non-purchase order invoices in SAP
• Contacting suppliers and stakeholders within the business to help resolve invoice queries
• Review and approval of expense submissions via the Concur platform
• Producing supplier statement reconciliations
• Calling suppliers to validate changes to supplier details, and updating these within SAP
• Supporting the introduction of automated invoice processing software
• Supporting the P2P project helping to make process improvements

What we are looking for in our Finance Assistant:

• Good Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data
• The ability to challenge current processes

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

• An accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA or equivalent audit qualification
• Demonstrable ongoing professional development
• Previous experience of working within a Finance or Audit department
• Previous experience of working for a manufacturing organisation
• Experience in the use of SAP
