Position Summary

The Finance & Business Specialist is responsible to lead and manage the planning and reporting of the MTS Business Solutions Selling, General & Administrative Expenses and associated metrics, quarterly Sales Bonus payouts, and annual Sales Quotas. Accountabilities include:

  • Developing, analyzing, and reporting the SG&A budget and forecasts, including headcount, and communicating findings and recommendations to the Financial Reporting & Planning Manager and business stakeholders.
  • Supporting the development of the annual Sales Bonus Plan by proposing and assessing change impacts.
  • Developing and maintaining the complex Business Solutions Sales Quota Model, which includes leading the VP, Directors and Sales Managers in the development and distribution of annual Sales Quotas.
  • Planning and managing the Sales Bonus Plan quarterly payouts, including coordinating source data and updating documentation and reporting.
  • Providing monthly tracking against financial targets to the Sales team and follow-up on questions.
  • Participating in process improvements and transformation.

Primary Qualifications

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CA, or CGA).
  • Extensive experience with financial management and accounting systems.
  • In-depth experience in budget analysis and reporting, including month-end accrual preparation, monthly expense adjustments, management of results tracking, and forecasting.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate financial and strategic insights in a clear, structured manner, including experience developing reports for senior level management.
  • Experience building strong business relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing big data to create trend reporting, often leveraging complex calculations.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel, including proven ability to use pivot tables and develop graphical presentations.

Secondary Qualifications

  • Experience managing commissioning or compensation plans, as well as setting quotas or targets.
  • Experience with SAP, with a particular emphasis on the PA, CO, and FI modules.
  • Exposure to and understanding of the BPC and BI systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Solutions products and services.
