Our client a dynamic and vibrant player in the FMCG industry is looking for an experienced Export Controller who will drive customs and compliance and export efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate and resolve product and carton exceptions
- Reconcile export trips and exceptions against export statements and billing
- Analyse and improve on internal customs compliance trends
- Own and drive operational efficiencies in the total export process
- Elicit requirements for retailer and group export process, systems, and report improvements.
- Play active role in retailer and group export initiatives and projects
- Support the export payment administration process
- Analyse and effectively implement new export services and product types
- Support the export permit application procedures
- Support audit requirements
- Build overall export capability within organisation
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Experience in a logistics or retail environment
- Experience in road transport exporting and customs clearing
- Experience working with clearing and forwarding systems
- Knowledge of supply chain management system
- Advanced MS Office Skill
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R400 000 – R450 000 p/a
