Finance & Accounting Intern

Summary

The Finance Intern records, monitors and analyzes general ledger accounts. The person in this position assists with the preparation of financial reports and analysis of results as well as, performs account reconciliation and analysis. The Finance Intern will ensure accuracy in accordance with regulatory filing requirements and company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Manages reporting compliance with various state and federal regulations
• Documents processes and procedures
• Works on special projects for the department as assigned
• Other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Working conditions are typical of a fast paced, computer based office environment that experiences rapid change.
• Team environment with deadlines.
• Must deal effectively with multiple interruptions.

Minimum Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Applicants should be Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are essential to this position.

DURATION

This position is for a three to four month period. Starting date as soon as possible.
