Skills and Qualifications Required
The enumerator must meet the following criteria and qualifications to be selected:
Education:
- Bachelor’s University or Diploma.
Technical Skills:
Previous experience with working on data collection platforms (SurveyCTO, CommCare, KOBO), or similar data collection platforms.
- Previous experience with NGOs as enumerators. Prior knowledge about NGO’s works, MEAL activity is preferred.
- Previous experience in conducting field monitoring visits.
- Demonstrated experience in household surveys (baseline/evaluations, PDM).
- Computer literacy to be able to work on smartphone-based data collection applications
- Basic level of proficiency in Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel to within Ninawa government (door to door interviews).
- Ability to work independently and confidence to undergo household visits.
Personal Skills:
- Good facilitation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in multicultural, multi-location, values-driven teams
- Innovative, motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- attention to details and rigor in field and reporting work
- Willing to accomplish each day’s work with the supervisor by the end of each day.
Languages: Arabic, Basic English language is preferred.
Each Enumerator will work any day required by Oxfam and payments will be paid according to the number of days worked at the end of the month based on the completed attendance sheet and reports.
