Strengthening community response and protection services for women and girls in Duhok and Halabja governorates through improving the capacity of local NGOs and related government institutions. The project is funded by AICS and implemented by WEO in partnership with CESVI.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Driver with Car is responsible for providing the transportation means for the staff within the areas covered by the Organization and to make sure of the safety of the staff. It’s worth mentioning that the Driver with the Car agrees to provide transportation with his own vehicle.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations and Finance in coordination with the Field Team Leader, the Driver with Car shall perform the following duties:
1- Drive safely, responsibly and be prepared for all road conditions
2- Ensuring the security of passengers in the vehicle, driving carefully, observing speed limits and traffic rules in the country, in order to avoid car accidents.
3- Knowing and respecting the security rules related to vehicle movements, specifically those related to checkpoints and roadblocks. Ensuring all passengers know and respect the security rules
4- Follow all instructions are given by the Organization, including assignment of daily work, roadworthiness of the vehicle, parking, driving standards and cleanliness;
5- Assist with loading and unloading of cargoes and luggage whenever necessary;
6- In case of an accident, the Driver with Car will take full responsibility and liability for any costs or damages caused;
7- Responsible for all taxes, fees, fines, insurance and other costs in relation to the vehicle;
8- Report unsafe conditions and injuries.
9- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator or the Director of Operations & Finance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• At least three years of experience in Driving vehicle,
• Holding a valid driving license to drive the class of motor vehicle;
• The vehicle must be maintained in a roadworthy condition at all times, and must be fitted with working conditions;
• Good ethics and confidentiality standards in a diverse workplace,
• Flexibility with regard to long working hours or working on weekends if required.
