Enumerators

1. Background

Welthungerhilfe (hereafter: WHH) is a German private, non-profit-making, politically independent and

nondenominational relief organization, which supports people living in deprivation and poverty,

irrespective of the color of their skin, their religious beliefs or their worldview. WHH is working in the

fields of development cooperation and humanitarian aid, relief aid, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

WHH implements the project- IRQ-1024-19 “Supporting resilience for host communities, returnees and

internally displaced persons (IPs)”, in the framework of the wider Welthungerhilfe programme. The

purpose of the project is to support the returnee and vulnerable members of host communities, have

developed sustainable livelihoods and improved self-help capabilities by rebuilding agricultural systems

using resource conserving technique.

2. Description of Responsibilities of enumerators

• The enumerators are expected to carry out the following tasks and generate the below deliverable
• in accordance with the relevant guidelines provided by the management of WHH and the close
• collaboration with WHH staff:
• working under supervision of HoP, DHOP, MEAL & expert agronomists.
• Participate in one-day enumerator training.
• Supporting WHH-project 1024 staff during distribution of kits, Facilitating trainings, data
• collection, technical assessment in the field, CA study, Data entry and any related tasks in Tikrit
• Enumerator may be asked to carry out additional duties and tasks requested by the supervisor.

3. Qualifications required:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in agriculture science or relevant educational background.
• Previous experience with an NGO and/or institution in relevant field of work is an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic, good in English is an advantage.
• Good experience in using Microsoft Office app (word, Excel & power point).
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
• Committed, honest, friendly, and eager to learn.
• Should be from Salah Al Din districts.
