Improbable
At Improbable, you are surrounded by people who want to improve everything and everyone around them, and who compel you to improve yourself. We’re motivated by the fulfilment of solving hard problems to achieve something profound and transformative.
Your Team
You will be part of the Metaverse Solutions group, the premier organisation for servicing and solving the problems of our metaverse. You will be working alongside experienced game developers familiar with all aspects of the game development lifecycle, including production, art, design, technology and operations. You will be working with notable names from the industry who are our partners and customers. As this is a growing area of Improbable, you will be directly involved in shaping both the technical and commercial direction of how metaverse experiences are developed and launched.
Your Role
We are looking for someone who is looking to apply their game development skills, including but not limited to implementing game mechanics, game systems, character / camera / controls, artificial intelligence / pathfinding, procedural content generation and other gameplay related specialties to the range of metaverse projects that we have.
Technologies & Skills
- Unreal, Unity, Other, Commercial and Open Source Game Engines
- C#, C++, Perforce, Git
- Platforms (Consoles/Mobile)
We’d like to hear from you if you identify with and/or possess the following:

- Knowledge of game architectures and game development paradigms (e.g., entity component systems).
- Knowledge and working experience of game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal or CryEngine).
- Knowledge of implementing networked gameplay in a multiplayer environment.
- Excellent communication and team skills:

While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply. This is a very open ended role, and we are more interested in someone with the right mindset than specific experience.
