Job Holder Objectives

Provision of Engagement Team services at DXC MBA UK&I to support the winning of new business. The Engagement Manager works closely as part of the Sales and Presales Team to define and document Dynamics 365 solution proposals, particularly from an implementation and services perspective. The Engagement Manager presents and explains proposals and plans to customers. The Engagement Manager liaises with Delivery colleagues to prepare for, and onboard new customers. The Engagement Manager maintains, refines and creates new sales collateral and offerings.

Key Activities

  • Contribute to proposals by responding to non-functional questions with high quality content and producing implementation plans and services estimates.
  • Present proposals and plans to customer key stakeholders, Executive Boards and decision-makers.
  • Manage the DXC team completing a proposal (Request for Proposal; Request for Information; Invitation to Tender, etc) by actively monitoring status and quality checking content throughout the submission process.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Together with colleagues from Sales and Presales, produce Statements of Work for new projects.
  • When needed (due to Delivery resource constraints) Project Manage Diagnostic engagements; scheduling resource, managing budgets, risks and issues and ensuring outputs are delivered on time and to sufficient quality.
  • Support the management and communication of active opportunities, ensuring that Delivery understand future resource requirements.
  • Ensure services estimate information is provided to the business, via the Sales Lead, for resource planning purposes.
  • Manage the onboarding of new business and customers; organise and chair Sales to Delivery Handover Meetings.
  • Develop and update existing and help create new sales collateral and offerings, ensuring any changes to Sales and Delivery practices are reflected in these.
  • Maintain a good level of knowledge and understanding of the DXC software and services offerings.
  • Proactively support colleagues in the Engagement Team and peer review outputs.
  • Attend customer discovery sessions; take and circulate notes.
  • Attend weekly meetings/calls as required; including Weekly All Sales Meeting, Presales and Engagement Weekly Catch-up, Engagement Team Weekly Call and On Boarding Calls.
  • Complete all mandatory DXC administrative activities.
  • Perform any other reasonable activities as agreed with your manager.
