Project Overview:

The Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) facilitates seasonal and longer-term work opportunities for Pacific workers in Australia. It connects Australian employers with Pacific workers under the newly introduced Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme which combines the existing Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) and Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP).

The Role:

The Employer Onboarding Administrator will support the PALM Scheme’s Employer Onboarding Team with the financial, legal and operational and administrative processes in order to maximise the uptake of Pacific workers in Australia.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Employing Onboarding Coordinator you will:
  • Be the point of contact for initial email and phone inquiries and directing inquiries to the appropriate area in a timely manner
  • Update documentation and processes with amendments as required and maintain the Approved Employer Deed documents
  • Assist new employers and employer’s staff with the initial recruitment process with comprehensive, accurate and timely advice.
  • Manage and collate all relevant data for periodic reporting and presentations to DFAT and adhoc administrative duties for the Employer Onboarding team

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in project co-ordination or administration
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of compliance and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of interpersonal skills with customer and client relationship management
  • Able to work autonomously with attention to details and highly organised

You must have valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position – visa sponsorship is not available.

This is a Brisbane based role with options for flexible working. Candidates who are willing to relocate for the position must do so at their own expense.
