JOB CONTEXT : As for today, the emergency pool is composed of 5 emergency specialists (Pool Manager, Logistics Manager, Finance & HR Manager, MHPSS Manager, Physical Rehabilitation Manager and Wash/Food/Shelter Manager) under the hierarchical management of the Pool Manager. The emergency pool sits in the emergency division which is composed of a team of 16 persons: one team in charge of the monitoring, alert and emergency preparedness and one team in charge of the emergency responses at HQ and field level. Come & join our Emergency Pool as emergency inclusive humanitarian action manager !

YOUR MISSION :
Under the responsibility of the Emergency Pool Manager and in close coordination with the HQ Inclusive Humanitarian Action Specialists, you are in charge of :
1) Participating to initial Assessment
2) Coordinating the sizing, rollout/scale-up of the inclusive humanitarian action component of HI emergency response operations following a humanitarian crisis by providing technical advices and creating awareness among humanitarian actors, in accordance with HI´s rules and standards and those of its donors
3) Supporting to build up HI team capacity and establish pathways and tools to enhance inclusion in particular of persons with disabilities;
4) Contributing to the institutional capitalization and participate in the development and update of Humanity & Inclusion´s emergency methodologies, procedures, tools and trainings;
5) Representing and promoting HI´s mandate in the framework of the emergency responses in your field of expertise

YOUR PROFILE :
 Strong professional experience (at least 3 years) in emergency response;
 Experience of at least 2 years on promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities and other groups at risks of discrimination in a coordination/manager position or similar in emergency or post-emergency assistance;
 Good knowledge of emergency coordination mechanisms, donors regulations and process;
 Experience in initial assessment & opening missions is a plus;
 Ability to train and build capacity;
 Ability to conceptualize and formalize tools, methods and procedures
 Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) essential. Spanish or Arabic is a plus.
 Management of IT tools (Office Pack)
