We are seeking talented and motivated engineering professionals to join our multi-disciplined team. LiRo currently provides the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.
Our continued growth has created an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer for our Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities
- Coordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
- Electrical system analysis and calculations
- Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
- Design of fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
- Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding and lighting protection
- Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
- Electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant design experience
- Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task on several projects at once
- Experienced in engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction process
