ABOUT THE ROLE

As our new Educational Consultant for the South West, you will be responsible for adoptions of OUP’s school products and services, the retention of digital services, for closing sales to achieve individual revenue targets and will also support the publishing and marketing teams with relevant customer, competitor and market feedback.

This is a pivotal role within a well-established and respected Secondary Sales team, who are well supported and motivated. You will ideally be target driven, collaborative, self-motivated, adaptable and a proven problem solver.

Please note that this role is working on a term time only basis.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS COVERING THE SOUTH WEST AND THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO BE HOME BASED IN TERRITORY. ONCE PERMITTED, WE ENVISAGE 2 TO 3 DAYS OF THE WEEK WILL BE SPENT TRAVELLING TO SCHOOLS.

ABOUT YOU

You will have:

  • Consultative sales skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to think creatively, independently and flexibly
  • Experience of selling digital products and services
  • Experience of selling to educational establishments
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Experience of the UK Education Market and experience of selling to UK Secondary schools are both desirable
