In the role of Education Program Coordinator I, located in Wausau, WI, you will support educational objectives by performing routine administrative duties, communicating information related to campus programs, and assisting with development of educational materials. You will coordinate department educational programs by scheduling events, assembling enrollment and education information, and following compliance guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct visitors providing information, refreshments, and campus tours, as requested.
  • Maintain records and file systems to effectively manage information following regulatory guidelines for the organization and campus operations.
  • Provide information, support, and problem solving for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
  • Serve as liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, affiliates, outside institutions, and other campuses.
  • Maintain working understanding of accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
  • Coordinate institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, schedules, training, recruitment, interviews, orientation) related to the requirements of accreditation agencies, national boards, or affiliates.
  • Maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s), standardized patients, and learners.
  • Prepare and compose correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other documents using basic and more advanced functions of computer applications and software packages, which may contain confidential information.
  • Answer and relay telephone calls, resolve routine inquiries, distribute incoming mail, and take appropriate messages.
  • Coordinate and maintain calendar of events, appointments, meetings, and schedules for assigned staff.
  • Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials.
  • Coordinate room reservations; assist with room and event setup.
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Schedule:

7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (appropriate experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis)
  • Minimum Required Experience: 2 years
