The Sr. Organization Development Consultant is responsible for senior level consultation and design, implementation, sustainability and measurement in talent processes, in areas such as: culture, engagement, performance management, learning & development, succession management, career development, and change management linking individual and team performance with business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads/participates in development and sustainability of integrated organizational development strategies, in areas such as culture, employee/leadership and change management, in alignment with the overarching people strategy. Develops and implements organizational development programs aligned to our values and strategy.
  • Collaborate with O.D. Director and cross-functional leaders to capture, communicate/educate and embed MCW core cultural components and expected behaviors into core people processes in all phases of the employee lifecycle (talent acquisition, talent management {including performance, coaching, engagement}, retain/rewards and separation)
  • Collaborate in development and management of a competency framework, learning and development framework, identifying training and delivery options for all levels of MCW staff. Ensures the effective integration of the competencies into other talent processes. Oversees the design, availability and use of resources relating to the performance and development of the competencies.
  • Provides expertise and coaching in using and implementing leadership assessments and multi-source feedback instruments
  • Participate in MCW’s leadership development academy, ensuring relevance and results. Provides expertise and coaching in using and implementing leadership assessments and multi-source feedback instruments.
  • Participate in organizational change management efforts including communication, training, coaching, resistance management, and reinforcement plans to drive adoption for sustainable change.
  • Develope and facilitate learning programs to support engagement learning organizational information to support the institutions missions.

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with an ability to facilitate engaging discussions/presentations and create written reports.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to collaborate in multiple and diverse projects.
  • Strong project management and computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and lead / work as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and best practices; ability to generally align talent and organizational development with MCW’s mission and values as well as policies, procedures and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on high-quality outcomes. This position requires senior level internal consulting skills, and expertise in the design and execution of strategic solutions.

Preferred Schedule:

8am-5pm

Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Required Experience: 6 years

Preferred Education: Advanced degree in organizational development, instructional design or human resources management

Preferred Experience: Experience in a large, complex organization in the area of talent development, and organizational development
