Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Support project manager by managing and supervising assigned project activities independently with minimal supervision
  • Coordination of activities with stakeholders
  • Responsible for project`s progress in assigned areas of operations
  • Management of multiple education teams in coordination with the Program manager
  • Assistance with project development
  • Supervision of the two-school supervisor.
  • Responsible for the visibility of the project
  • Provide feedback and advice to improve the quality of activities, psychosocial and education
  • Monitor the quality of the project`s activities in coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
  • Provide training for the project staff and teachers in the targeted locations.
  • Assist project coordinator with reporting (weekly and monthly report)
  • Writing of reports, preparing spreadsheets
  • Representing People in Need and networking with local authorities, UN agencies, international and local NGOs, and representatives of the target communities

 

 

The Employer stipulates the right to assign the Employee any other kind of work derived from his specialization. In case of urgent work and such like the Employee may be asked to work overtime as well as during public and other holidays.

 

In case that larger number of different tasks is to be fulfilled by the Employee at the same time, the Employee shall accomplish the urgent and more important duties first.

 

OBLIGATIONS:

The Employee is obligated to ensure the following:

 

  • Adhering to all PIN policies and procedures at all times including those stipulated in National Staff Handbook, Child Protection Policy, Security Standard Operating procedures, etc.
  • Punctual attendance to work including both working hours in the assigned office and schedule field trips if applicable
  • Ensuring timely and effective delivery of tasks
  • Correctness and completeness of given tasks
  • Prompt providing of all relevant information to their supervisor
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information gained from employment within not publically available
  • Archiving of all entrusted and acquired documents in proper manner
  • Representing and upholding the values of People in Need at all times
  • Behave in appropriate manners at all times and in all places

 

 


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree is required,
  • At least two years of work experience with international and/or local NGOs or other relevant organizations will be an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Kurdish and Arabic, excellent writing and reporting skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel,
  • relevant educational And/or professional background in education projects 
  • Experience in communicating with different stakeholders
