**Donor Communications and Media Manager under Business Development Unit – Quezon City | Fixed Term

Role Purpose**

The Donor Communications and Media Manager leads the formulation and implementation of communications and campaign strategy for the Business Development Unit (BDU) that places children’s rights at the center of our work; works with the Advocacy, Campaigns, Communications, and Media (ACCM) Unit to build the Save the Children Philippines brand; supports the organization’s business development, fundraising, and advocacy goals; and manages various projects and initiatives. S/he serves as the chief manager of the Save the Children brand for the BDU, ensuring that strategies and materials generated and implemented are on brand and that they put children first. The Donor Communications and Media Manager has oversight of the production of collaterals, including but not limited to Electronic Direct Mail (EDMs), social media key visuals (KVs), digital banners for websites and microsites, large collaterals such as briefs, smaller collaterals including stickers and bookmarks, body copy, videos, and scripts for audio and video productions, for use in fundraising-appropriate materials that are suitable for both print and digital platforms depending on the application.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • A diploma/degree in communications, creative writing, journalism, management, marketing, political economy, or other similar course from a reputable institution.
  • A robust background (minimum 5 years) in creative or technical writing.
  • Capacity to accomplish assigned work rapidly, accurately, and with minimal supervision for extended hours.
  • Verifiable experience of copy production from consultation with client to generation of the final product.
  • Interest in and knowledge of new technologies and digital platforms.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Previous copywriting experience in the development or humanitarian sector and for charities is a distinct plus.
