Individual **Giving Manager under Business Development Unit – Quezon City | Fixed Term

Role Purpose**

S/He will be part of the Business Development Team, that will be responsible for, and will significantly contribute to, the development/updating of the Save the Children Philippines Business Development Strategy, particularly for the period 2022-2024. S/He will also be instrumental in achieving the objectives of the strategy, particularly for the Individual Giving funding stream. The IG Manager will be part of the representational team of Save the Children in increasing its network of donors and supporters.

The primary purpose of this position is to lead in the development and delivery of the Individual Giving strategy of Save the Children Philippines. S/He will establish methods of fundraising from individuals that for single, repeat, regular donations, and mid-level as well as major donors.

The Manager, Individual Giving, has a key role in strengthening and growing innovative resource mobilization models for Save the Children Philippines, specifically for individual donors. S/He will support initiatives that will ensure Save the Children is the charity of choice where individual giving is concerned. S/He will also be responsible for developing the donor base, increasing donations and retention. S/He will build a robust team for Individual Giving.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven track record in funddraising, specifically in individual giving and preferrably in middle / major giving with at least four years in fund raising and/or marketing;
• Experience in networking / account and/or campaign management in competitive environments;
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to negotiate challenging situations to achieve goals & deadlines
• Goal oriented with the ability to solve problems, take initiative, and to co-develop innovative approaches and solutions;
• Excellent communication & writing skills both in English and Filipino;
• Ability to drive projects through to completion and prioritize tasks;
• Demonstrates strong commitment to Save the Children’s mission, vision and values. Previous experience with child rights programming will be an advantage. Market sensitive and evidence-driven decision making;
• Openness to a range of ideas, particularly those that may conflict with one’s own;
• Has shown collaborative and empathetic leadership.
